The Rumsey Town Hall was built in 1903 by
Rumsey residents to hold social gatherings,
ice cream socials, and to hold meetings Women's
Improvement Club, it was it was
later changed to the Rumsey Improvement
Association.

Directly adjacent to Hwy 16, Rumsey Town Hall is
the most visible historic community hall in
continual use over the last 100 years between
Woodland and Clearlake, California.

In 1996, Rumsey Improvement Association built
their own Post Office for the town.
